Refund Policy for Hygiai


At Hygiai, we are committed to providing a seamless and satisfying experience for our valued users. We understand that situations may arise where refunds are necessary. This updated Refund Policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for obtaining refunds for various services offered within our healthcare application.

1. Appointment Booking Refunds:

Hygiai offers the convenience of Appointment Booking, which includes Teleconsultation and In-clinic Consultation services. Payments are collected only for Teleconsultations at the time of booking. Refund eligibility is determined based on the following timeframes:

  • Cancellation made 48 hours prior to the appointment will result in a 100% refund.
  • Cancellation made within 24-48 hours of the appointment will result in a 75% refund.
  • Cancellation within 12-24 hours: 50% refund
  • Cancellation made within 6-12 hours of the appointment will result in a 25% refund.
  • Cancellation made less than 6 hours before the appointment will not be eligible for any refunds.

Once an appointment is canceled according to the above criteria, refunds will be processed automatically. If an appointment is canceled by the doctor, we will offer the option to reschedule at no charge, ensuring a smooth process.

2. Symptom Checker:

We do not provide refunds for the Symptom Checker once it has been initiated. In case of unexpected circumstances, please reach out to refunds@hygiai.com or make a request within the application, and our dedicated team will assist you.

3. Service Fee Refunds:

Service fees may be applicable for the refund process. These fees are designed to enhance the user experience and support our efforts in connecting healthcare professionals with opportunities.

4. Refund Process:

To request a refund, please contact Hygiai's customer support with relevant details, including the reason for your refund request. Our team will promptly review your request and provide further instructions within 48 hours. Eligible refunds will be processed by Hygiai within 15 days of approval.

5. Refund Method:

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used for the transaction unless otherwise agreed upon. Our goal is to offer a hassle-free refund process to ensure a seamless user experience.

6. Canceled or Unavailable Services:

In the unlikely event that Hygiai cancels a service or is unable to fulfill a service for any reason, a full refund will be provided to the user. We highly value your trust and aim to offer reliable and efficient services.

7. Exceptions:

While we strive to accommodate refund requests, Hygiai reserves the right to refuse a refund request if the terms of the refund policy are not met or if there is evidence of misuse or abuse of our services.
